Warehouse/Facility Manager

Job Title: Warehouse/Facility Manager (full time position)

Reports To: COO

Objectives:Establishing improved procedures and controls to achieve optimal balance of organization of Inventory and efficiency of inventory turnover, allowing for increases in volume of receipts and installer load-outs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing
safety standards and procedures, and complying with regulations.

2. Develop warehouse processes and controls to maximize accuracy, product turnover, and utilization of space.

3. Protects security of materials and company’s financial interest.

4. Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

5. Solve day-to-day operational issues, prioritize effectively, and escalate matters as

6. Excellent customer service for customer pick-ups (e.g. ‘materials only’ or rugs)

7. Responsible for ensuring regular maintenance of equipment through maintenance
schedules, including forklifts (currently 2) and take-up machine rental.

8. Meet regularly with Scheduling team to discuss scheduled receipts, installations, and
process improvements.

9. Communicate effectively with salespeople, purchasers, schedulers to ensure satisfaction
of objectives that align with warehouse policies

10. Meet regularly with COO to discuss goals, objectives, and to review, analyze, and
develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention

11. Operates computer to receive materials into inventory daily, make adjustments as
needed, check stock, place orders for stock of supplies in supply room.

12. Oversee general warehouse cleanliness, appearance, and store maintenance, as

13. Leading annual physical inventory count and Inventory adjustments in system.

14. Keeps record of and enters installer orders of installation supplies according to established price list or margin expectations.

15. Develops strong working relationship and trust from Installers, promotes a positive
culture and values.

16. Protects and promotes the company image at all times.

17. Covers warehouse team member duties and responsibilities during vacation, sick, or
other unexpected absences. We are team players!

18. Operates with integrity and with a high ethical standard at all times.

19. Warehouse hours are Monday through Friday 7:30AM – 5:00PM, with 60-minute lunch.
One warehouse team member covering warehouse at all times.

20. Performs other related duties as assigned. Exposed to heat in the Summer and cold in
the Winter, although temperature-controlled warehouse office.

Customer Experience, Customer Service, Organization, Math Aptitude, Prioritization,
Listening, Oral Communication, Leadership, Professionalism, Computer Literacy, Installer
Service, Self-Motivated, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, Problem-Solving, Attention to Detail,

Associates or Bachelor’s degree required. 3+ years of warehouse experience required, 5+
years preferred. Forklift certified. Auto insured.
